About Us

Chicago Life Cares serves as a bridge and resource center for those in a homeless, mental crisis or substance abuse situation. Our mission is to "Save the soul to save the person". We work to accomplish this by providing clothing, food, resources for shelters and for temporary housing.  We accomplish our  goal by giving each and every person the love that lives inside of us and that desires to connect and care for another.

We began our work in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2008 when the we noticed that there were those who slept at bus stops, business doorways and anywhere that they could rest or sleep. It was then that we knew that we must be a part of the solution and not ignore the growing population of people living with out permanent shelter, food and basic necessities.
